KU Shared Service Center – Build the Foundation:   evaluate job functions, redesign business processes, and create training materials

  • This project is complete

KU Regional Shared Service Center Implementationto streamline job functions and improve business processes

  • Training continued for the staff that transitioned to the Campus Administration & Operations SSC in wave 3
  • Leadership from the Biomedical Research SSC met with PIs to demonstrate the functionality of and gather feedback on the BudCast reports for grants
  • SSC Leadership met with leadership from the Libraries to begin preliminary planning related to the SSC
  • Space renovation planning began for the south wing of the third floor of Carruth-O’Leary Hall.  The soon-to-be renamed Biobehavioral & Social Research SSC currently located in the Dole Human Development Building will transition to this space in April
  • The SSC implementation team continued preparing for activity assessments that will occur in early December
