KU's Research Caliber: strengthen skills, technology, and retaining top performers

  • As part of the Shared Service Center initiative, several training programs are being developed related to research administration. As these programs are developed, they will be initially delivered to KUCR staff and subsequently to the SSCs.

Pursue System Improvements: implement tools that increase faculty and administrative efficiency; collaborate with KUMC where feasible

  • The Institutional Review Board system on-site kick-off has been scheduled for December 11th & 12th. The license agreement has been signed.

KUCR Efficiency: strengthen operations, processes, and overall effectiveness

  • The research award data integrity project has kicked off and is underway. The purpose of the project is to improve the accuracy of research related reporting and metrics by better utilizing delivered functionality in PeopleSoft and creating effective and efficient business processes. This project is anticipated to take 4-6 months.
