KU's Research Caliber: strengthen skills, technology, and retaining top performers

Pursue System Improvements: implement tools that increase faculty and administrative efficiency; collaborate with KUMC where feasible
- Management continues to work on Procure to Pay business processes. Changes have been implemented based on feedback received from department personnel to improve workflow productivity (included PO number on system notifications).
KUCR Efficiency: strengthen operations, processes, and overall effectiveness
- RGS leadership met with SSC leadership to discuss in depth how research will be incorporated in the SSCs. A small team from both areas will be conducting a site visit at University of California, Berkeley, to see how they have accomplished this task.
- RGS completed onboarding requirements for KUPPS Go Live.
- Members of the Research Award Data Integrity Team are getting final instructions and preparing for the transition when Huron consultants roll off of the project at the end of May. Remaining awards will continue to be reviewed and corrected by a newly formed award set-up team.
