- PAS has recently hired 5 employees to begin work 6/30-7/21. These positions fill key roles as Grants Specialists with grants management teams, invoicing and payroll audit
Pursue System Improvements: implement tools that increase faculty and administrative efficiency; collaborate with KUMC where feasible
- AR/BI user acceptance has begun for 8/12 go-live anticipation
- Discussions to begin use of close letter in Image Now to continue
- Effective June 20th, ACUOHP application has been accepted as an official project with Central IT, coordinated by Amanda Henry from the Office of Research. Current system requirements include: refined screening logic to improve the process used to identify personnel with potential medical risk, improved reporting functionality to better support future AALAS audits, and recommendations to improve user experience overall
- Current and Pending application update is in progress, also headed by Amanda Henry. The goal is to refine the application according to current needs
KUCR Efficiency: strengthen operations, processes, and overall effectiveness
- PAS employee with Pre-Award employee have started discussions to re-invent the PI delegation process for KUCR
- These same individuals have started discussions with the new SSC Business Analyst for improving the accessibility of the various electronic payment systems KU uses in conjunction with a revised PI delegation process
- PAS has identified ways on an internal level to improve response time for RFA processing
- 15+ QA queries in regards to AR/BI have been added to the QA team. Bill Saltmarsh and Amanda Henry are working on consolidating the QA data into an easily digestible format using Tableau
