KU’s Research Caliberstrengthen skills and retain top performers

  • This project is complete, but progress will continue to be reported.
  • Human Resources presented a session on Communication in the Workplace for research staff on December 17th to aid in providing greater communication skills (20 attendees).
  • IT has presented several sessions to build and reinforce research staff’s technology skills, including training on the advanced features of Excel on December 18th (20 attendees).

Pursue System Improvements:  implement tools that increase faculty and administrative efficiency; collaborate with KUMC where feasible

  • Huron Consulting to implement ecrt (online electronic effort certification system); kick-off meeting completed, mapping of data elements underway, and campus-based focus groups formed and scheduled to meet.

KUCR Efficiencystrengthen operations, processes, and overall effectiveness
