KU’s Research Caliberstrengthen skills and retain top performers

  • Held Thursday Research Topics (TRT) session on cost transfers (31 attendees).
  • Office of Research experts presented at the regional SRA on the following topics:
    • Funding Development: Best Practices from Multiple Disciplines presented by Alicia Reed and Damon Talbott (Graduate Studies)
    • Proposal Budget Development workshop (1/2 day session) presented by Nancy Biles, Brad Bernet, Megan Todd, Dan Coonfield
    • Cost Transfers – What? Why? And How? presented by Elena Semyonova-Smith and Anita Abel
    • Post-Submission to Award Acceptance Content Level presented by Bill Sharp and Deborah Maloney (KUMCRI)

 

Pursue System Improvements:  implement tools that increase faculty and administrative efficiency; collaborate with KUMC where feasible

  • Working on SSC view of budget summaries in Image Now
  • Working on improvement of cost transfer form for Image Now
  • Working on improvement of close letter form for Image Now
  • Implementing new form for request for Provisional accounts for Image Now
