Progress made this reporting period:

KU’s Research Caliberstrengthen skills and retain top performers

  • This project is complete, but progress will continue to be tracked.

Pursue System Improvements:  implement tools that increase faculty and administrative efficiency; collaborate with KUMC where feasible

  • ecrt effort reporting system is on track for June implementation
  • PI Portal/Dashboard nearing completion – project with IT
  • ePAF (electronic Personnel Action Form) discussions ongoing
  • Click (e-compliance):
    • Creation of a new COI shortened research certification form, in use at KUMC, and pending deployment at KU-L
    • Creation of reporting database and refresh schedule for enhanced data analysis at both campuses
  • Wellspring:
    • Nightly data refresh created as a base for enhanced reporting capacity
    • Re-organization of organizational hierarchy to support HR integration and enhanced reporting capacity

KUCR Efficiencystrengthen operations, processes, and overall effectiveness

  • This project is complete, but progress will continue to be tracked.
  • Continuing review of business processes, best practices and policies
  • Implementation of Post Award administration tool in Tableaux branded ART (Award Review Tool)
